Dear Church,
We see in John 11 that Jesus stood before Lazarus tomb and said, “Come Out!” he literally called Lazarus to “Come alive”. We are not meant to live in a tomb our callings as God’s people are needed in a world that needs Christians. See, life has a way of wearing on a person. Under the weight of losses, pressure, failures sometimes our souls begin to wither. Passions dry up. And our hearts want to retrieve like a soldier who runs away from the battlefield and locks himself in a bunker. No, as believers we are more than conquers. Like Lazarus, our call is “Come Alive”. Remember 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”
