Covid-19 Update

The Board of Elders has decided to officially open our sanctuary for worship starting
Sunday, May 31st, 2020. The worship will be at our normal time of 9:00 am in-person and we will also continue with our Live Stream at 9:30 through Facebook. There will not be any Sunday School or Children's Church for now. We will be following the guidelines issued by the California Department of Public Health.

  1. We encourage wearing a face mask as you enter the sanctuary.

  2. We will be taking the temperature of everyone who enters the sanctuary using a digital infrared thermometer. Those who have a fever will be advised to go home and watch online.
    Please arrive early.

  3. We will provide hand sanitizers in the entryway.  Please use it as you enter and exit the building.

  4. We will rope off pews to maintain social distancing.  Families are encouraged to sit together
but please keep a 6-foot distance between families.

  5. Please refrain from hugging, kissing, or handshaking while in the facility.

  6. The sanctuary will be cleaned and disinfected before and after the worship service.

Please be advised that if you are of a vulnerable age or not feeling well, to stay home.
Your health and well-being are of paramount importance to us. We will continue to broadcast our worship through social media as we are doing now.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Our Story

As the body is made up of many members, so is First Baptist Church made up of its members.  Our congregation is loving and welcoming and delights in expository teaching of God's Word about His truths.  We are a church that loves the Bible and wants to learn from and grow in God's Word.  Our ministries reflect this desire and offer discipleship opportunities for all ages.
